Go To Town - The Big Clean Up
Over 60 Huddersfield residents took to the streets over the weekend of 10-12th May for "Go To Town - The Big Clean Up", a project to clean up areas of the town centre, the gateways to the centre, and the river corridor. We have agreed with the Huddersfield Civic Society to organise a clean up after Easter 2020.
Introducing our Greenstreams Project
The Greenstreams project is one of the major projects that Environment Kirklees leads on. This project has been delivering public access and other improvements along the River Colne since 1997 when the first new riverside footpath was created behind the Leeds Road Retail Park.
