Green & Clean Workshop - 18th May

Updated: Apr 30, 2019

Huddersfield Civic Society is running another workshop - “Green and Clean Huddersfield". The last HCS workshop in October focused on challenges facing Huddersfield centre and its outcomes were fed in to the masterplanning consultation recently run by Kirklees Council.

This workshop will look at the importance of the environmental sustainability agenda to Huddersfield. "Our workshop will consider the environmental issues that contribute to making Huddersfield a town to live, work and study in,” says HCS.

It will be an event with opportunities for audience contributions and run from 09.45 - 13.15, with four themes:

- Cherishing our green spaces

- Improving air quality

- Alternatives to the car

- Waste and litter
