Green Drinks: Future Events
Green Drinks: Huddersfield & the Valleys is a monthly event now in its third year. It is open to people interested in environmental matters and is supported by The Media Centre, Huddersfield. We publicise Green Drinks through MeetUp (sign up for this below) and in the Enviro Kirklees monthly newsletter.
At Green Drinks there is an opportunity for networking, followed by discussion on a theme. We look at key environmental issues or local projects within the Kirklees area and the potential for change. We covered 20 themes during 2018 and 2019.
The group meets at Café Ollo, Media Centre, Northumberland Street, Huddersfield HD1 1RL usually on the second Tuesday of each month (apart from January and August) from 17.30 – 19.30 with the main theme starting at 18.00. The cafe is open for drinks and networking from 17.30. During the current restrictions meetings will be held on-line on Zoom.
