Green Drinks: Future Events

Green Drinks: Huddersfield & the Valleys is a new monthly event. It is open to people interested in environmental matters.

At Green Drinks there is an opportunity for networking, followed by discussion on a theme. We look at key environmental issues or local projects within the Kirklees area and the potential for change. We covered 10 themes during 2018.

The group meets at Café Ollo, Media Centre, Northumberland Street, Huddersfield HD1 1RL on the second Tuesday of each month (apart from January and August) from 17.30 – 19.30.

Future dates for Green Drinks meetings are as follows:

Tuesday 10th December: Playful Huddersfield. Emma Beardman from Playful Anywhere will give us an insight into how play is a powerful way to revive town centres.

Better facilities for children within the town centre helps to extend "dwell time", increase spending and improve vitality. There are other benefits from a more "playful" town we will explore.

Emma will touch on what would make Huddersfield Town Centre a more playful place for young and old alike.
The presentation will start at 18.00.
